International Students

Belfast School welcomes International students to our school.  We are a signatory to The Code of Practice for International Students.  We must adhere to this document, which can be located at the following website  http://www.minedu.govt.nz (click onto International Education on the right hand side of the page).

Belfast School enrolls a small number of International students and also provides short term English language programmes for groups of overseas students.  

We offer:

*  Full year courses of study in a New Zealand classroom

*  Short term English language courses specifically designed to meet your needs

*  Group programmes combining specialist English language

*  We employ a school based Teacher of “English as a Second Language”  –  Mrs Sonia Everts, responsible for the education and well-being of our International students.

We provide quality programmes on a New Zealand school campus; excellent pastoral care and support; first language support and a specialist ESOL Teacher.

We can provide a total programme to meet your child’s academic and personal needs; help your child experience the New Zealand way of life; introduce your child to the culture, geography, scenery and excitement that only New Zealand can offer; and help develop your child’s English language in a setting of fun and security.
